【綜合外電報道】澳洲和新西蘭出現反常天氣，風暴及塵暴在前日吹襲澳洲東岸。墨爾本氣溫大幅下降至創下二月份最低紀錄，二十四小時的降雨量達一百二十毫米，廣泛地區水浸。惡劣天氣下最少兩人死亡、一人失蹤。新西蘭受大霧籠罩令機場關閉，三百班內陸與國際航班取消。

少年遭洪水沖走

正值盛暑的澳洲東岸，前天受到強烈低氣壓影響，墨爾本迅速轉冷，溫度由周二的攝氏三十六度，大幅下降至前日的十三度，創下自一八五六年有紀錄以來最低溫的一天。不但溫度驟降，普遍地區持續降雨，創下單日最高雨量紀錄，較當地二月平均雨量多出兩陪。

惡劣天氣下，陸空交通大受影響，多處頓成澤國，大樹及電線杆被吹倒，數以十萬計的居民沒有電力供應。一名十四歲男童在墨爾本南部被洪水沖走失蹤，救援人員設法搜救。過去兩天在新南威爾士，一名十六歲的少女及一名三十七歲林務工人分別被吹倒的大樹砸死。

新西蘭亦受大霧籠罩，首都機場一度封閉三十六小時。在周二傍晚至昨日上午約有三百班內陸與國際航班取消，當局估計截至昨日有一萬名旅客受影響。
