路透洛杉磯電---隨著愈來愈多消費者努力應付排山倒海而來的時尚選擇、變化無常的尺寸，還有日益寬廣的腰圍，網路公司正設身處地，迎合使用者各種體型的特別需求。

儘管上網買衣服和鞋子不是新鮮事，在年銷售中有近140億美元，但最新一批網路服飾公司與網站，提供了更精密的尺寸丈量法，而這就成了賣點，或許能吸引忙碌、受夠氣，或難以找到合適服飾的顧客。

33歲的行銷主管金恩喜歡購物，又自認為是很容易買到合身成衣的四號身材。然而，她仍然認為，堆了一整個衣櫃的成衣是「廢料」。

這位加州居民說：「我絕對是那種會退貨的人...那就是線上購物如此惱人的因素之一，你很難看出，穿在模特兒身上的東西穿在你身上會如何。」

而有些公司就進入這新興的猜測尺寸利基市場，像While Landsends.com就是率先提供線上量身訂製服飾的業者，讓顧客能針對牛仔褲與卡其褲，自行決定水洗的樣式，還有如腿型等細節。

Forrester Research分析師曼德森(Tamara Mendelsohn)說：「他們善用了網路的核心價值觀，也就是協助消費者尋找最切身的產品。」曼德森預期，將有更多量身訂製的網站出現。
