利豐12.6億購Rosetti手袋業務


利豐(494)宣布，以1.62億美元(約12.6億港元)收購美國Rosetti Handbags and Accessories Ltd.的手袋及配飾業務。是次收購已是利豐本年度第二次的收購活動。

從事手袋設計及製銷業務的Rosetti，截至05年底止，手袋營業額約1.95億美元(約15.2億港元)，稅前盈利約2,860萬美元(約2.2億港元)。

利豐將以內部現金儲備及銀行借貨支付，預期是次收購於本月底完成。

利豐集團董事總經理馮國綸相信，收購有助擴大集團對現有客戶及百貨公司的服務層面。

他續指，收購符合集團的發展策略，持續在美國建立強大私人品牌批發業務，並擴展非成衣業務。

繼續物色收購對象

利豐早前表示，已預留1億美元儲備，作為本年度中小型收購之用，目標是完成4至5項小型收購，並期望至07年營業額可增至100億美元。

利豐剛於5月初，以3,700萬美元(約 2.9億港元)收購美國女裝成衣商Oxford Womenswear Group(OWG)。

OWG主要製造中低價私人品牌的女裝成衣，預料收購有助利豐拓展美國業務，並可為利豐半年內帶來500至600萬美元(約3,900至4,680萬港元)收入。

傳購德國採購業務

上月中，市傳利豐收購德國零售商Karstadt Quelle(KQ)旗下的採購部門，收購價介乎1至2億美元，但交易作價及條款仍未具體披露。 (都市)
