Stiff is not the response I was after Steve. Every league in NSW that I know of runs their final on the same night as during the week they play through the year. I think the presentation night is way over rated and has been proven with the poor turn outs over the last few years.

I can't see how starting at 5pm would make that much of a difference. If that is a problem, then it should be given that those that cannot turn up on time due to work or another important committment are placed in the second matches (not up to the captains). What is the problem with this???

Also, when scheduling events for this year, ie champ of champs and finals, consider the major snooker tournaments that are on around that time. Last year I had to concede my match in the NSW State Championships in order to get to the final in time. There are others also who play in these comps so it's not just me.

This is valid feedback and I hope that the committee can consider this carefully and come up with a solution.
