Hello there! Well, in regards to what you said here...Did you mean to say if they got along well in real life? and... Carlos may not be Claudine's type of man..do you mean in real life or as her leading man in the teleseryes?
In real life, perhaps Carlos isn't Claudine's type of man. It seems that Claudine likes guys who are a little older and more mature than she is.. just like Rico Yan (rip), who was 4 years older than she, while Raymart Santiago is in his 30's... I think. I know that Carlos and Claudine born on the same year 1979, but Claudine is older than Carlos by 5 months. Perhaps, Claudine doesn't like that hip-hop type of guy. Don't get me wrong..I love Carlos Agassi when he acts dignified and mature on tv, rather than him acting all hip-hoppy and yo-yo peeps (if that's a word..hehe). I have to say "Thank goodness, Carlos... you finally cut your hair." hehe. Watching ASAP-mania and looking forward to seeing him gets me excited again..kasi guapo si Carlos ulit, rather than him with long hair that kept falling on his face. Now, he looks more like the leading man type. I hope he does consider doing another teleserye again soon, if not with Claudine Barretto, then perhaps with another leading lady. I guess he's just too busy with his show "Victim."
I have read a couple of years ago in Chismis.com, that Carlos Agassi's type of girl was Claudine Barretto and that he did like her. But during that time, it was hands-off for him, because Rico Yan and Claudine Barretto were still together and he didn't want to disrespect the friendship amongst all of them. Oh well..I don't know why he never made his move on Claudine back then, when Claudine and Rico were not together anymore. That could've been Carlos's chance, since Carlos and Claudine were working together on the set of their teleserye Sa Dulo, as well as seeing each other in ASAP and they'd often sing a duet together. But then again, Raymart Santiago came into Claudine's life. I'm also wondering..if Claudine ever knew or heard of the chismiss that Carlos had liked her at one time. How did she feel about it? hmmmm??
As for them getting along together in the teleserye, I guess Carlos and Claudine got along well. Otherwise, they wouldn't have lasted a long time in their teleserye SDNWH. In Sa Dulo, I don't know if you remembered that Carlos and Claudine had a long kissing scene in the rain at lips to lips pa, when Benjie was apologizing to Angeline, for supposedly admitting his love for Sophia. Did they have a choice? hehehe.. Would they kiss one another sa lips pa, if they didn't get along? You could always talk to your director if you don't want to be kissed on the lips di ba? You can just kiss on the cheeks or forehead and I have seen some teleseryes do this with the some characters who are in love in the teleseryes.... and not all of them kiss on the lips for a long period of time. But Claudine and Carlos kissed on the lips as if there was no tomorrow..hahaha. So I assume to think that Carlos and Claudine were good friends on and off the set. Also, I think that Carlos Agassi was one of Wenn Deramas choice of leading men for Sa Dulo, since Carlos was also in Wenn Deramas' last teleserye "Saan Ka Man Naroroon" that also starred Miss Claudine Barretto. As for the time being, I only watch Carlos Agassi in ASAP-mania and that's about it. I don't watch his other show "Victim." With Claudine Barretto, I only see her in "Marina". Claudine was a regular host in ASAP-mania, but sadly her and Kristine aren't regulars anymore..I guess respectively because of their busy schedules in showbiz, as well as their personal lives. But I do hope Carlos and Claudine will both be in more television shows and movies this year and the years to come. I'm sure that ABS-CBN has more exciting projects for each of them. I'm excited and looking forward to Claudine's movie with Jericho Rosales and Diether Ocampo as her leading men.
My greatest wish though is hopefully... one day...for Claudine Barretto to have a show here Los Angeles, California with special guests the Hunks, so we fans, may also see her in person. Yes, she did come here in California with Piolo Pascual to promote their movie "Milan", but sadly it was in Northern California...somewhere in San Francisco. GRRRR...why didn't they come here to Los Angeles? Even the TFC anniversary event ( with some of ASAP-mania regulars such as Vina Morales, the Hunks, Heart Evangelista, etc. came to do the show) happened in San Francisco. I guess the ABS-CBN management doesn't like us Southern California pinoys/pinays..Special sila doon sa San Francisco atc favorites nyo sila..hehehe. Nagtatampo na kami dito sa Los Angeles eh..lolz..(just kidding).. But seriously though, for realzzz, I do hope that Claudine Barretto does come here to Los Angeles one day and greet the fans.
