Subject: Repost of my Quest!!!!

A quest that I'm preparing for...

*The silver-eyed ermine walks in with a full haversack, journal, and other supplies. She sets them carefully in a spot that will keep them safe and dry until the right time. She produces a long scroll of parchment that she tacks up on the wall.* This quest is for my own personal discovery, for the continued well-being of my mind and soul. Many of you know that I am a healer, trained by the renowned Risan Weirclaw, but not much more. A recent discovery, perhaps a coincidence, has started me on a path to self-discovery, my hidden talents. A few of you may know what I'm talking about, but most do not. So I'll explain. You know that my defining features are my eyes. When I was a small kit, my eyes were not as they are now. *You notice that her eyes are completely silver, pupil and all.* Then, Risan found me. She saw in me a spark and took me from my parents against my will to train me in the healing arts. Ever since, my eyes have gradually become as you see them. It was brought to my attention that that is not a normal process for a healer's apprentice, but the final step of magehood, at least as is true in one part of the world. It is called Silvering. I believe this to be what has happened to me, though not until recently has it 'finished'. I no longer have distinguishable pupils and my eyes glow in odd instances. My healing has changed as well. The power of my salves and poultices has increased, beasts heal faster, and I begin to feel tired, as if extra strength has been drained from me after a healing. Therefore, the quest is this. I must find the origins of my teacher, Risan. She was ever the cautious one and never much a one for reminiscing. I have a few of her journals, from before her tutorage of me, and have discovered that she has gone by at least four other names in her lifetime. In the Mossflower region, Sereli. To the far far south, Tyruiaa, in the north, Crion t'Reaai, and in the island chains to the northwest, Ver 'al'Oprai. The point in this is find out what her true purposes were in teaching me the arts. So, what I need is this. Information. At the moment, I have little to go on from her journals. She writes little more than herbal cures and recipes. I have, however, searched through her writings carefully and marked beasts' names when she mentions them. There are four major ones. The current gatekeeper and healer at Redwall Abbey, an otter named Ridgewood Harrow. A lizard chieftain to the south, called the Great Namswift. A healer who keeps shop in a northern village, a wildcat of the title Sir Granth Stripetail. And a pine marten shaman of a tribe of wild vermin on a small island in the northwest, called by the name Shri 'Uki. So, I need 4 beasts to lead 4 expeditions, each to travel to one of these places and find these beasts to question them about Risan. They must be trustworthy, intuitive, and intelligent. They must be able to decipher truth from lies and keep a low profile. I have details on all these places, of which I will refer to the volunteers in letters. I regret that I will not be able to lead any of these expeditions, for I will be traveling to my homeland, Risan's last known general area of residence, in the Verdant Mountains across the ocean in the direction of the setting sun. More is to come. Don't think this quest(s) is any time soon, for I've got Neptune's quest and my tutoring to continue. Zephyr, Lyn, whence time comes for this quest to begin, I will have to leave my teachings for awhile. Perelaai, I need more information on Silvering. You've told me nothing but the basics.
