Subject: Removal of clothing

In the West Memphis child murders, 3 eight yr. olds were murdered. Each was nude and hogtied. Three teens were convicted of this crime, but many believe they are innocent. Theories range from the children were killed in the woods where the bodies were discovered (all 3 were submerged in a creek), to them being killed someplace else and dumped in the woods, in a creek. New evidence may point a finger at the stepfather of one of these boys. My question is, why would the perp have rendered them totally nude? Again theories abound. ie, it made for easier transportation, they were easier to control, etc. Could it be that the murderer wanted just to humiliate them? The boys were badly beaten and evidence may suggest that 2 could have been sexually abused months prior to death. Any insight into why they were nude would be greatly appreciated.
