Hey Simon,

Having thoughts while watching that movie actually shows that you are not one minded and have a mind that is capable of doing many things at a time. I also study psych at QUT, and we are actually taught to think of these issues whilst watching tv/movies or reading. Forensic psychology is a great unit to take, and i will post later the issues re: profiling that we as a tutorial thought were legal/ethical and important. Ashley is the one who has problems if she thinks that because this is an interest of some people, that they don't have lives or other interests. After all, if she is studying psych, isn't she taught that 'stereotyping' never ever can or will justify or define who a person is. Furthermore, this is something she should also be interested in. SHE needs help.
