Twin fires burnt in his dark orbs when he turned away from the worthless stallion to his mate, "I'm sorry, Dusty, but he's not worth it. If he ever speaks to you again in such a way, come tell me. I'll not be so quick to slow my rage next time." Unable to stand still any longer lest he explode, the chestnut nodded to Wolven and his mate, and flicked an ear toward Silk in silent acknowledgement before stalking away.
