Actually, you can stop it. It says that the mate of the person being sneaked can also stop. I'll double-stop, just in case anyone raises a fuss, but where is it? A link would be preferable... I looked in all the recent posts on both sneak boards and didn't notice it.

She's mated to Shaz. Anyway, the sneak is farther down the board under the title "yup yup". A chestnut birdie has also spotted it and pointed out that it is a sneak of Xiaoyu.
