Ebony wolf panted slightly at his effort, sharp orbs scan the premises for a horse call Starlight,(or Starlight's Thunder Cloud, I'm not sure, the quest giver wasn't very accurate) he worried that if he didn't finish this soon he wouldn't be able to get back in time to help Cotton.

Golden female looked sharply at the wolf ooids dark. I have no favorite all my children have a place in my heart. She growled and turned and moved away towards her foal.

He winced slightly at the sharp comment, okay, not a good question, whether or not the mare was listening he spoke'Sorry for the trouble I have caused you, though it was not my choice of a question. Thank you, I bid you farewell.'He sighed and turned, just before he left he took one last glance at the mare, then sprinted off.
