The first, a black and white overo, spoke. ~~Yes, I am. My twin here, is not. She is here with me, for speech is not a gift bestowed upon her.~~ She shook her head, sending bi-colored tresses cascading down her face, framing it to perfection. Her younger twin stood quietly, unmoving, silent. She listened, and understood, but could not reply. She too, shook herself free of the water and sand that had lodged itself on her hide along the journey here.
