Bright mocha eyes look at the mare. She smiles, being only a filly and not knowing the predicament she was in. The mare's belly looked swollen, no doubt. With a valiant attempt, she takes a shakey step towards the mare. Eyes peering about the territory, she teeters forward another step. The horses were all eating this green stuff on the ground. Looking at it curiously, she spreads her forelegs far apart so that her head may reach the ground.

Her gums unsuccessfully try to pull some grass to eat, but she only gets a few blades. She chomps happily, until she discovers she doesn't have an affinity for the tangy taste of grass, at least not yet. She swallows anyway, then whinnies again proudly. See! See! Look what I can do! She seemed to chirp, shaking her head around.
