Two very young mares, they were barely any more than that, trotted in deeply engrossed in a sort of odd argument. They both appeared to be of Arabian heritage, thought one was slightly taller than the other. They were both fairy-dusted dapple gray with narrow stripes of white cleanly dividing their faces. It was remarkable how alike they looked (despite the height difference).
However, under closer inspection, they were as alike as night is to day. The mare of smaller stature was critiquing her sister over something, and the taller more slender femme of the two was held only a soft smile and nodded in agreement every once so often. She seemed content to let her sibling ramble on and on. Finally, the shorter of the duo halted and her sister near ran into her. "Let's stop here, it looks nice," She said decisively. And so they did. Stay, I mean.
Name: Elephant
Nickname: Ellie
Age: 5 (about 2 seconds older than her sister)
Height: 14.2
Heritage: Arabian
Appearance: Moon-dusted dapple gray with a perfect stripe and four very short socks. She is slightly stockier than her sister.
Personality: Bossy and all-knowing, Ellie, were she a human, would enjoy cow-tipping among all things. She's disruptive, annoying and obnoxious too.
Name: Queen Victoria
Nickname: Rhonnie
Age: 5
Height: 15.2
Heritage: Arabian
Appearance: While she is the same color and has the same markings as Ellie, she is much taller and more beautiful than her sister. While Ellie is no ugly duckling, Rhonnie has the poise and elegance of a queen. Hence her name, Queen Victoria.
Personality: She is a stark contrast from Ellie. She is shy, kindly-mannered, and polite. Also, she is helpful and caring and would do anything for anyone, especially Ellie. Including listening to her otherwise silly commands and ramblings.
History (for both): Their mother was a slightly deranged mare who felt herself to be the most saught-after mare in the entire world. After moving from herd to herd she finally had her two daughters, Ellie and Rhonnie. She loved Rhonnie quite infinitly of course, simply because her stunning beauty attracted so much attention from everyone. Ellie was left quite hungry for attention herself, and decided to turn herself into a tough, strong mare who could do anything save snag a stallion for a mate. She was a little too dominant for that.
About three months ago, Ellie and Rhonnie's mother reached the end of her life, and passed a natural death. Ellie, being the one in charge, decided the two should move somewhere where they were unknown so they could create a name for themselves. Well, Ellie wanted to create a name for herself, she could care less about the reputation of her sister. Unfortunatly, Rhonnie's natural charm will still ruin her hopes of being the 'best'.
