With the approach of the stallion and the filly(?), he freezes. Even though moments before he had so confidently waded into the territory, across the defining water, the disinction - as blurred as it may be - between him and them is clear in his heart and mind. Nevertheless, the colt is not one to loose his composure where strangers might see, and he forces his body to relax and to breathe in the air and exhale in calming rhythem. A shy smile emerges in his illuminant eyes; hiding Doubt and Uncertainty who linger in the very depths with fateful claws sharp and ready.

"I'm new; I didn't realize that I was supposed to splash in it." he answers Wolven softly, then turns to Basandra and merges the two answers, the one to Wolven and the other to the filly, into one. "My name's Arvad. What are yours?" The dark gray, speckled white colt watches both of them with the harmless interest a newcomer attaches with those who first greet him.
