"Yes, I did like him very much," she replied earnestly. Opening her eyes, she met her friend's gaze. "I'm just so worried that I'm going to hurt him again! I mean, one minute I'm all over him and the next I'm pulling away to go brood some more. I just don't know if I can subject him to that!" On the verge of tears, she took several deep breaths to calm herself. "I'm sorry about your friends," she added softly.

Having known it but having to hear it spoke before she agreed* "Goldie dear, if the guy likes ya as much as I saw...I don't think he'd care if you poured water on him or made him stand in the cold all day. He'd do it...for you. That's something we all deserve...even you." *The whole thing was true, but the last words were a light tease, letting her friend know she was being to hard on herself once more*
