The chestnut Welsh Cob glances over to the brief exchange, marking French Silk (who, he realized with a sudden surprise, must now be his adoptive step-daughter...) and her mate, speaking rather undelightedly to an Evil who had just arrived. Moving over, he nods to his acquaintances, and then eyes the Dark with a cool but stony gaze and speaks bluntly, as is mostly his way. "You are not welcome here and are not technically allowed here. Of course I would let you stay if you seemed to be causing no harm, but the looks on Bey V's face tell me differently."

She had started to move over when the dark began stirring up trouble with Bey V, but decided to let Steel handle it. When the shadowed one disrespected authority, however, the palomino trots over to rectify the situation. Not at all pleasantly, she glares at the stallion, "I will have no evil horse causing trouble in my territory." The slightly petite mare draws herself up to what appears as more than her full height, exuding a general sense of command. "Leave now, and never return." (Ahh! It's Gollum!! *grin*) "As I'm sure the King has made quite clear, you are neither welcome nor allowed here and face severe punishment by your rulers if you do not remove your presence immediately."
