Lowering what he hoped was a 'fatherly' muzzle to nudge Stormy, he withdrew and examined the hazel-eyed wonder for damage, "Why do you carry on so, Stormy. Are you hurt?"

He peers up at his father with big almond eyes, his whiskered muzzle touching his father's briefly. "Swim!"
He squeals, planting himself firmly in front of the stallion.

"I will take you swimming. But no 'fooling' this time. Deal?" He didn't expect the colt to understand, of course, but he spoke anyway in hopes that eventually, the brown darling would begin to speak sentances.

He trots happily to the water and jumps in, splashing around a lot. He trots farther into the water, lifting his knees high. His fuzzy baby coat is sopping wet now, and he looks back at his dad much resembling a drowned rat. He snorts into the water, blowing bubbles.

He continues splashing around, then nuzzles his dad fervently. "Happy, daddy. Happy," He nickers, then yawns tired from his hyper 'swimming' before.

He looks very confused, which is quickly replaced with a bright smile. "Swimmy! Swimmy!"

Demonstrating a 'swimming' motion, he repeated, "Swim." Gesturing toward the colt he stated clearly, "Stormy."

He stopped pawing around in the water and lowered his head. He didn't understand what his father wanted, but he seemed upset about it. He paws a hoof tentatively and snorts the salt water from his nostrils. "Swim?"

He smiles, relaxing a bit and splashing more, grinning the whole time. "Me smart!" He squeals happily.

*Dusty approaches her mate and stops beside him* He loves the water, doesn't he? *She asks River. Turning to the foal she smiles* Do you love the water Stormy?

He splashes around gleefully, drenching his parents quite a bit. He spots a dead jellyfish floating around, and preoccupies himself with such.

He dodged a particularly large wave of water sent by the fuzzy colt and assured his mate as best he could, "I'm sure she'll drop by soon, and once she does, Dust Storm will enchant her well enough that she might find it difficult to leave."
