Why did the MTA strike?
The answer for economic reasons and a better standard of
living.

The rich will always be rich and the poor will always be poorin this system. Why? There is an equation that sahys we work to buy goods and services. Income=Production & services
How much do we need in this country to buy those goods and
services? According to the GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCTS you need
a net pay of $2,000 per week or more, which is $100,000 per
year, to get out of poverty or a low standard or living.

The minimum net pay should be about $1,000 per week because
the cheapest rent is $800 or $900 or $1,000 per month for a
studio. That means one needs to make $800 or $900 or $1,000
per week to afford it. There are 4 weeks in the month. One
week's pay for the rent and 3 weeks to live on for food,
clothing and other expenses.

How does someone making the minimum wage of $6,$7,$8......
$10 per hour, which is about $200 or $250 dollars per week
going to pay for a studion of $1,000 per month. that means
one has to take the whole 4 weeks of pay to pay for one
month's rent and have nothing left to live on.

a 2 bedroom apartment rents for $1,500 or $2,000 per month.
That means one nees to make $1,500 or $2,000 a week to afford it. If you make $500 or $600, you will have to pay
2 or 3 weeks toward your rent and have only 1 or 1-1/2 weeks
left to live on.

There should be a law as in the city projects, section 8
and Mitchell lama programs that they should charge your monthly rent according to what you make a week. If you make
$200 per week, then, they should charge you $200 per month.
if you make $1500 per week. they they should charge you acc
$1500 per month,etc, etc.

We are nothing but economics slaves for the system.
The rich and powerful have fear of loosing their wealth and
power. The only way that they can keep their wealth and power is by keeping you poor. consequently, they have design an economic system that will alwyas keep them on top
and you on the bottom.

People use to make $10 (ten) dollars per week and with that
they pays rent, buy food, clothing and other expenses. Today
you make $500 $600 or $1,000 or $1,500 per week and you are
still behind your rent and standard of living. Why? Because
everything you get a raise they take right back by raising
food, clothing, shelter, etc, etc. You think you are making
more but you are not.

I tell my boss not to give a raise. Instead of giving me a
raise lower food, rent, clothing and the standard of living.
What is the sense to give me a 4% raise and raise everything
else 8%. What they are doing is taken everything back and more and leaving me with the same debts and economic struggles of everyday life in this country.

How is it possible that only 5% of the U.S.A. population
have all the money and all the power while everybody else is
going crazy trying to figure out how to make ends meet.

Soldiers fight and die in Iraw to make the rich richer with
oil (gas and heating oil prices going up)
and make the poor, TWU, and veterans poorer with poverty.

a system that can help them remain
