Read your Bible, if you have one. Man was put on this earth to manage it and the "beasts" on it. Do you expect cattle, hogs and sheep to just run around wherever they want.
Have you ever stopped to think about someone else besides yourselves when you make these remarks? Do you realize what would happen to our economy if shutting all the slaughter houses actually took place? The millions of jobs lost means less money spent in the buisness places. Take a minute and let that sink in. Not only the packing house workers would lose their livelyhood. Truckers, grocery stores, clothing stores, family farms, sale barns, feed salesmen, 75% of all crop production would come to a halt. Bet that would make you feel good. The loss of all of the above would affect EVERYBODY! If your wish ever came true, you would then understand. I just pray it never does.
Slaughter Houses are not pretty, it's not supposed to be a pretty buisness, just a part of life and death. Somebody or something will always make a sacrafice so you or I have what we require to survive.
