I recieved one of these hokey letters along with an advertisement for buying mailing lists. Within it, it says that each of the people requested within the past 45 days a way to make Money. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I am turning my copy over to our state attorney general along with the company names and the 6 list of names. The bottom one is not legit, I found one on the list is and the name of the company they bought labels from.
This is a true violation of one's privacy and I did not authorize my address to be sold. I even called the company who supplied the addresses - the guy told me they had a lawyer call just this week.
People are stupid if they send in a $1.00 - however, the companies are more stupid when they are sued for false soliciation as well as the people on the list.
