 The character of Timmy died onscreen August 5th! The timing was weird considering that Evans was going on vacation and was going to be resurrected by Reilly once again in the fall.

But NBC has edited all of the shows that featured Evans and his storyline on the show.

But I heard irony once again struck when the character of Rebecca Hotchkiss said during today's broadcast something like, "Why can't people just stay DEAD(Obviously referring to Julian and Theresa)?"

I hope this is a wakeup call for the soap to do some more traditional, compelling storytelling. It's not too late to shift the focus of the series!
