Yes, this was before they did the Telenovela format. I think this was at the time that Julie Carruthers began her position at PC as EP. And someone call me crazy, but she was listening to the fans back then because(from what I could see on the TVGuide board) most of the loyal followers wanted to see PC as a hospitalized, character driven show like it was when it first began.

How many chances does a show get?
