It doesn't matter. Its all over!

For the week of September 23, 2002 GL got its
LOWEST RATING ever of 2.4 HH, the very week
Joan Collins joined the cast, wasn't she suppose
to save the show? LOL This comes right after
4 consecutive weeks of 2.5 HH ratings (which
at the time were all-time record lows).

Keep in mind... ANOTHER WORLD's lowest rating ever were 2.2 HH! So GL is 0.3 away from getting ratings lower than the last soap canceled! CBS has NEVER had a soap with ratings as low as GL currently has! ABC would kill for a 2.4 for PC! LOL But up until now, CBS never let one of its own
get inside this fatal territory! CBS has always canceled
soaps at a ratings level higher than ABC/NBC.

Like the departure of Charlotte Savitz from AW, the damage has been done, no matter who they get, its all over! And AW got Chris Goutman, a talented EP, but like AW, GL is simply finished!

Had Rauch been canceled around the time of the clone story, then maybe there was hope, but now its just too late!
