Well, CBS would be foolish to get rid of both P&G soaps
at the same time. That would make a lot of fans upset.
Sure if one goes, people will be mad, but the two longest-running soaps airing final episodes on the same day? There would be hell to pay!

As for B&B, I agree that an hour format would kill the show, buts thats for the Bell family to figure out for themselves, and I believe they are smart enough to realize that! Besides Brad likes a lot of time off, an hour show would result in double the work, he loves the soap genre, but I don't believe he loves it as much as his father.
