You made me think of that Brian dude's website with all the soap themes. I think it's no longer up and running. There was one soap theme that was pretty much the worst thing I ever heard from any tv show ever. It was Search for Tomorrow. They had a cool smooth jazz theme song and then replaced it with this over-produced, nasty, electronic sounding song. It had all kinds of weird electronic noises.

Now if only Y&R would go back to the piano version of it's theme....
