Unfortunately, I can't find Directing and Writing Nominations ANYWHERE!

I normally don't like the extra commentary TVGuide.com reporter Michael Ausiello(I personally find the extra commentary f--king pointless and SO not that funny), but he summed up my thoughts about the Best Show nomination with this....

"ABC's upstart General Hospital spinoff Port Charles scored the equivalent of a medical miracle this morning: a Daytime Emmy nomination for outstanding drama series!"

I'm still floored! But I am REALLY REALLY hoping PC doesn't get more attention than "The Bold and the Beautiful," which is a beautifully written, conistent show. This has been a long time coming for B&B.

If this were the PC nominated three years ago, I would agree that it deserved to win for Best Show! And if it wins, psychologically, I'll convince myself it's because of the year 2000 PC. Even *IF* Port Charles wins, it'll be much better than GH winning every year. JFP must be pissing her pants right now! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Hopefully, she won't try to do magic candles and vampires on GH. Just imagine Carly the Vampire Slayer. LOLOLOLOLOL!

This was definetly the year for the half hour soap opera! I'm extremely happy to see Bold and the Beautiful there!

I must say, I am happy to see Both Casts get well deserved nominations. With the crap material they've been given, they did great stuff with it, especially Kelly Monaco. But, I really believe Cady McClain is going to blow everyone else in that category out of the water. But you never know!

Isn't Kyle Lowder Days's first acting nomination since Christie Clark(ex-Carrie) in 1996(?). Seriously doubt he'll get it, but then again, who would have thought PC would be nominated for Best Show.

It's a Tossup. This Year Just Shocked Me. I'm even more shocked about SoapTalk's Nominations AND Meredith Vieria getting screwed over for Millionaire(which scored a 4.8(?) in the Nielsen's last week). LOL. Millionaire's primed to be tough competition for Jeopardy! Pyramid on the other hand.....don't even get me started. LOL.

As for Talk Show.....That's a Given. Phil McGraw in both Categories! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! I love the ladies of the View, but they never get a break. Too much competition. I would have assumed with Rosie going off the air last year, that they would have had a chance. But with Dr. Phil on the scene, they can forget it!

As far as Emmy Picks Go? Since everything is such a tossup, I'll tell you who should.

Supporting Actress: Cady McClain
Supporting Actor: Ron Raines
Younger Actress: Jennifer Finnigan
Younger Actor: Chad Brannon
Lead Actress: Nancy Lee Grahn(Great Funeral Scene With the Dress)
Lead Actor: Thorsten Kaye
Best Show: Bold and the Beautiful
------
What are your thoughts? Predictions? Please don't let me be the only one talkin here! LOL.
