I am currently working on 'retiring' my soap opera tape collection by copying episodes I like onto 3 or 4 tapes.

But it's a real pain in the butt to do it, because you scatter around from tape to tape to do it. And my view is that once I put away this tape collection, that is IT! I won't open that huge tub for about ten or 12 years, if I even do that!

And it's even more of a hassle if the tapes are UNLABELED! LOL.

I have just finished copying episodes of Sunset Beach onto tapes(Epsiodes with Annie or her Fantasies, Episodes of Meg/Ben/Maria triangle highlights, and The greatest episodes).

I'm planning on doing a tapes for Port Charles, one for All My Children and GH, and copying the ENTIRE season of Spyder Games on tapes.

But this time I am not making any mistakes.....I am "tagging" all of my tapes in chronological order so if I DO decide to go through these again, I'll at least have them in order and KNOW what they are.

Is it useless to hold onto this stuff or copying it? Am I just wasting my time doing this?

Does anyone else have tape collections they care to talk/vent about or any advice they care to share with me?
