Over the summers at my Aunt's house....the whole Brent/Marian Fiasco, Dinah Marler(before she went postal) and Annie Dutton, to name just a few things I remember about growing up with this show.

It makes me wonder whether GL should stay on the air, after all, GL has changed dramatically since the last time I watched. I mean, Marina was a baby with an ear infection that could impair her hearing when I first watched....difficult to believe she's all grown up(Thanks to SORAS). Hell, I still think Rachel Miner IS Michelle Bauer and Bryan Buffington's Bill Lewis(I always thought those two would have made the greatest pair...the chemistry was SO THERE). And whatever happened to THE REAL David Grant? And where in the world is Bridget?

But I've suddenly realized how GL is such a generational show.......While I have no investment in the characters of Mel, Cassie, Richard, Edmund, Danny and Tony, there are longtime fans AND new kids that are attached to these characters in Springfield. I doubt GL will see it's 60th, but it will be a sad day indeed when CBS pulls the plug on this gem.
