Hiring a writer like Hogan Scheffer who is not a daytime insider, who IS a breath of fresh air and who deserved all the awards he received.

Worst Daytime Trend
Sci-fi. Earth to daytime head honcho's (Corday, Faren-Phelps, Reilly, Hannan-Carruthers especially)....you do not have the budget nor the writing/production talent to do sci-fi. It looks cheap like the bad "B" movies from the 50's. It is not enjoyable camp, it is not nostalgic from the original Luke & Laura days and it is not a "guilty pleasure" by any stretch! Move along to your roots...character driven drama!

Deacon/Brooke & co. on B&B

Cassodine resurrection/biotoxins, General Hospital
Anything on Passions especially painting Theresa as a heroine

David Lee Rusik - Sean, Y&R (possibly the ONLY decent recast this year??)

Adam on ATWT - he went from a cutesy little background character to actually having a few good stories and doing a great job with them
