I did a double take also when I read 57. Wow!

I'm not sure what was going on behind the scenes. Like maybe he had poor work habits or made his co-workers feel uncomfortable. Seems to me that he was very popular so ABC must have really been pushed in order to fire the guy. If that's the case, I hope ABC has good documentation. Technically, he could also try for an age discrimination suit as well.

I read a rumor somewhere that NBC was courting him to play Stefano on Days. LOL
