*Looking around, he strolls over to a table and places his quill and parchment down.* Hi! The name's Julius Phoenix, an ex-noble from up north. *He grins* I was exhiled, for conspiracizing agains my weirdo cousin, who happens to be the leader up there. *Oddly, he doesn't have the Northernish accent; perhaps he's not from that region?* Anyway, I'm just doing some research on the more tropical regions, such as this. *As he finishes that last sentence, a rat hobbles in and whispers somethings to him. For a breif second, he looks dissappointed, but he almost immediately brightens up* Okay, change of plans! My ship's leaving me, I like it here, so I'm staying! :)
