It's rad that we are having this conversation on a skunx thread. check it. Skins, Punx and Drunx. It's called that cuz true brothers don't need to all be the same. I hang out with good Charlotte too. Know why? Benji and Joel are funny killer guys. See I know who I am. I've been a punk who plays punk music for 18 years. you don't need to be me for me to hang with ya. I like good friends, good music and good times. The GC kids don't need to play punk to be my friends. As long as they got my back that's all I care about.
As far as taking the stage with other bands....dude it's their job. I aint trying to pick on ya or be a dick or anything, I'm just saying that at your job you are friends with and talk to people that aren't punk too. Plus hopefully there will be some kid (like we all were at some point in our lives) that isn't punk but seeing Rancid will change his life, and we get one more for our team.
Again, don't get me wrong. I aint trying to be a jerk to ya or put you down. this is just how I feel.
