ok, im sure all of you want to know whats up with Kuntuck (in an accent..hehe) i went to Ichthus, its a christian thing, it lasted 4 days long, there was bands, and teachers ther,e and stuff like that, it was so much fun... i talked about it at my online jounral, but i'll just paste in here what i wrote:
today is good ole friday! and i haven't written since forever!! but thats ok, i am at the chool library and i am just relaxin' since i have no where else to go!!! i thought i theatre today, but no one was at the bus, so i just came here, its all good, i'd rather be here anyway....
OK, lets get down to Ichthus. ICHTHUS was the most incredible expierence of my life! you could totally feel God all around you, it was the closest to heaven, you can get on earth!! i went with Tamilas Youth group, (which by the way, aren't the most brightest crayons in the box......) they were all waay younger than us, but it made me feel all superioir.. (i spelled that wrong. and for that, i apologize!) we took the plain white church vans there, isn't it weird how those big old vans you rent for like church trips are always white???? why can't they be all like, green or yellow or something! they are all the same! you don't know how many times i got confused about which van was actually ours... but back to the story, i put a sign in the window that said "wave if you love Jesus" we got 167 people, i dunno if that was a good thing or a bad thing, but this one guy looked at it and shook his head NO! *gasp* feens! i think more people should've waved... but some people were too busy on their cell phones. (or trying to figure it out!! hehe) we got in a traffic jam, too. there was a semi driver with wicked awesome blue eyes!!! (he was soo ugly though... haha.. and......old.....) but anyhwo, we finally made it to kentucky, and attended the first night of Ichthus, we missed the first teaching thing, but we got to see Sanctus Real, Pillar, and Reliant K!!! (all very very awesome bands!!) Friday we saw Lost And Found, and a couple others, but it started the storm, so we left.(even though the storms ended up moving AROUND the Ichthus farm..... *sadness) we missed Out of Eden and Delrious question mark. BUT STAURDAY WAS BY FAR THE BEST DAY!!!! we saw Lost and Found again. then traveled to the edge stage to see our emcee's concert...(RILEY ARMSTRONG) he was awwwwwwwwsome!! i had to get his cd
a GREAT cd, you really need to pick it up!! anywho, me and Tamila just had to meet him!!! so we were trying to find him all day, finally we saw him walking around and got to meet him! he is the greatest person i have ever met in my life!! he treats you like a sister/brother!!! he's so easy going, and down to earth and VERY humble!!! i couldn't believe it! i got a picture with him., but his dreads were all in his face and no one was ready for the picture...(dumb security gaurds don't know how to take pics!!!!!) Riley then signed my forehead and commented on me and tamila Lion on a stick we bought at wal mart(his name is hubert!!!!!!!) when riley was on the main stage, he said hi to hubert!!! hehe! he is great! that night was our last night there, we got to see Toby Mac (WHOM I LOVE!) and Jars of Clay!!! (except they acted very egotistical....)
when i got home i found out that Riley is going to be performing somewhere 2 hours away from my city, my mom is still thining about it, but im "waiting at the gate" and i know i will be able to see him..... everyone pray that i can see him sunday, if you knew him, you would be on your knees praying, too! he's awesome.....
