Subject: Polish Boogie Band Comes to Sacramento

The Polish Blues Trio "The Boogie Boys" will tour California and bring their high energy show to The Torch Club located at 905 15th St in Sacramento CA.

The Boogie Boys are a Boogie Blues Piano based trio from Krakow Poland and have quickly become one of Eastern Europe's most sought after acts. The Bands line up consists of Brothers Bartek Szopinzki on Piano, Simon Szopinzki Drums/Harmonica and their childhood Friend Michael Cholewinski on Second Piano/ Drums.

Though they are young men in their early 20's they are seasoned virtuoso musicians with an understanding of the Blues. Reminiscent of such boogie Blues piano greats who rocked the St Louis Barrel houses and New Orleans Jazz Speakeasies of the 40's and 50's.they have an exciting stage show doing piano tricks with rocking rhythms to keep the dance floor jumping all night long.

The Band has toured Europe extensively with their own band as well as working as a backup band for such American Blues Greats as Phil Guy, Johnny Rawls, and Studebaker John. They made their first American appearance in 2009 when they placed in the top 10 finals at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee, (a huge accomplishment for an Eastern European Band) followed by a north eastern us tour. and an appearance and the prestigious Montreal Jazz Festival.

It is rare to have Musicians of this unique caliber visiting from this part of Europe where coming to America is a dream. The Boogie Boys have made their dreams come true. So mark the date come and support live music and this fine band.
