• She shook her head before she laughed and nodded. "Actually..." She set Colby on the ground before she grinned. "Sit Colby." The puppy sad, wagging his stumpy tail. "Get mama her book." • She smiled slightly once more, nodding a bit. "Sounds like a nice guy..." She bit her lip lightly, watching him quietly. "Gonna go hop in the shower?" Usually she would be working on dinner about this time...and now she couldn't even do anything. He was exhausted by the end of the day, and she could do nothing to help him. With a little bit of a struggle, some swearing, she got back into her chair, heading into the kitchen. • She pursed her lip, looking up at him. "If we took all the stuff from the top two shelves and moved it down, I could reach it." She pursed her lips, tilting her head. • Brows gently furrowed, he leaned back against the counter as he regarded her quietly. "If we work something out, you gotta be careful, Stace..."
