He slid off the couch to stretch out on the floor next to Stacie, holding his arms up by his face to keep the exciting puppy kisses from making contact with his face. She stood up to give her brother a hug and kiss to the cheek goodbye and saw him to the door before she promptly let herself fall down into her husbands lap, cuddling up against him and letting their dogs nearly crawl on top of her.
