>I was perscribed gabapetin 3 years ago for chronic bursitis. I had a bursectomy 2 years ago and my dosage was increased from 600 mg to 1800 mg per day because the surgery did not work and I am in constant pain in my right leg, hip & lower back. It has helped slightly. I have tried to wean myself down but when I do the pain increases. I also take oxycodon for pain.
