You could have TMJ. I had never heard of TMJ until my son and I were receiving orthodontic treatment that turned out to be improper and dislocated our lower jaws and caused us to have a severely misaligned bite which lead to severe pain and symptoms. After suffering for months and months without help, since the orthodontist treating us chose not to inform us of what he had done to us...we finally found an orthodontist that don't us we had TMJ and we were referred to a world renowned expert that is treating us and treatment is going very well. I would strongly suggest you research TMJ, though you may want to contact me to refer you to accurate websites, as you could very well be suffering with TMJ and the sooner you get help the better and the proper treatment can successfully treat it.
