I have bone cancer in pelvis. I suffer from nerve pain but was given Durogesic Patch 25mg. It did not work. Gabapenten worked. I also take Dilaudid which also makes me sick. I have mood swings, crying jags, nausea, vomitting, and generally feel quite sick. The pain is not bad. I just don't feel the Patch and Dilaudid are doing much and dr seems to want to increase Patch and Dilaudid all the time. I feel the side effects are too much to handle.
Since I am new at this can I just stop taking as much of the Patch and Dilaudid?
I feel I could go back to Tylenol 3 plus the gabapenten and do as well and I would not have the side effects I am having by these heavy duty drugs. Thanks Mona
