This is crazy! I have the exact problems you have! Back, neck, shoulders, left is worse then the right. I know what mine is from - a nasty car accident with a transport truck! I also have seen dozens of doctors and have tried multiple treatments with no avail. I have headaches daily, I go for injection therapy monthly, massage weekly and I still take T#3 daily. I've tried just about everything. I'm just about to start physio for the third time! It's crazy and frustrating to deal with on a day after day basis.
What annoys me the most is that all of my doctors saw this coming but no one said a thing until I was already in pain! I should have been going to a massage therapist from the beginning, but I had no idea it would be an issue. For the first year all I felt was my shattered heel b/c it's pain over powered the rest of my pains!
So far nothing has completely releaved my pain, winter is especially painfull. Doing exercise in a warm pool is good b/c it doesn't put any strain on your joints. Exercising 3 times a week is especially important. I've kept up with that b/c in past winters I have not been able to wear a coat and I'd cry if someone tried to hug me - too much weight on my shoulders. Same with wearing a bra - it's impossible. This year the bra thing is still impossible, but I can get a hug w/o sheading a tear for the most part. Pain is definetly a lot to deal with on a day to day basis, for both me and those close to me! Itend to take it out on those I love...
Anyways, I've written a novel, but I am just glad to know I'm not alone because a lot of the time it feels like I am.
