So my Ontaio works worker calls the odsp 1-800 number to ask what to do. the girl on the phone says just go to a walk in clinic. I live in a town in the middle of Ontario there are no walkin clinics. So where are the guide lines made up for the big citys. it seams not only here but all accross canada they kinda forgot about the small towns with no health care or doctors for that matter. so the girl checked with her supervisor and told us that i could get it filled out by my old doctor in NB. Even though it states on the front of the form has to be complete by a ontario doctor. So off i go to the post office between the stamps and the gas there went the little money i am getting gone to forms instead of my lunch. like so many of us we didnt wake up one day and say hey i want to injure myself today. but sadly we get treated the worse. i was told by my worker about people in wheel chairs crying in her office at being denied CPP or disability. how fair is that?
