>>Hi Nancy I have cronic pain due to ostero arthritis in my L5, L4 spine and both hips. My ankle is seized and I cannot bend my toes or foot. I have had, every two months injections of cordison in my lower back (epideral and three shots). This is done uder x-ray. I will have my third session in December. Then I continue with my oxycondone at 60mg in the morning and 20mg at noon then 20 mg at bedtime. Also with these I take 2 tch oxycocet evert 4 hours. This seems to be helping my alot, but still a lot of drugs. There is an experimental pain stimulator that is planted under the skin and then it zaps pain away. It is called an implantablde spinal cord stimulator which transforms pain into a tickling sensation. Dr. Fewer is the inventor. The pain Clinic where I go has suggested the type of treatment for me, but I have to be put on a wait list. There is a least something coming out instead of narcotics for pain. Sorry for such a long not.
