I am not sure about a doctor who knows a lot about fibro but I know the doctors who are on the 'board' of this association(our assoc here in edmonton) and practise in and around the Edmonton are are very very good because they are sympathetic and they will try several things and medications until you find somethingthat works.
good luck...your doctor will make all the difference.remember no one deserves to live in pain.
If you go onto the Canadian Pain Society website you will find posters(bookmarks) that they made to tell people and their families of their rights...Every person has the RIGHT to pain relief...don't accept less...maybe order some posters and start spreading that message. We NEED to educate doctors, nurses and so on that needing medication does NOT make you an addict. Pain has an answer and you deserve the right to have a life you can live.
