Hi, my name is Vicky I have chronic pain. I really need to talk with people. I feel alone and scared. I have GERD and spasms in my gastrointestinal tract. The pain on my side can last for weeks and is continous. I am taking codeine for the pain and losec for my reflux. I still have chest pain and feel scared. Many tests are being done on me. I have gastroscopies done in the past. I feel scared and discouraged. In fact I think I am depressed. Is there anyone out there that can relate. Is depression normal when you suffer from pain? Please let me know. Vicky
