I to am living with chronic pain in my lower back. I live in Winnipeg and am being treated by the Pain Clinic at the Health Sciences Centre. If you were to get in contact with the Centre I think they might be able to help you find a Doc out there that will take you seriously. The number for the nurse line at the Centre is 204-787-7042. I can not promise you it will help but if you are anything like me you have Nothing to lose by tring. Don't give up. I know that it is hard, I have days myself when I don't know why I bother anymore. But I have to beleive that there is a solution out there somewhere. I just hope that I find it. Good luck.
