I tried Gabapentin and it was doing well for my nerve pain. Until I reached the 900mg per day level. Then my feet and legs ballooned and I had to discontinue it.

Funny side bar: When my feet and legs ballooned I when to the urgent care hospital. After explaining to the doctor what I thought was wrong. He left for a bit and then came back and said I was wrong that it could not be a reaction to the Gabapentin. He had looked into a book and found out that the reaction I was having was considered rare. He stated that because it was rare I could not be having that reaction. For the life of me I could not follow this logic.
