i haven't posted in awhile. i have lurked though and i'm glad we've started posting again. i hope the regs and lurkers are all doing fine. :)

of the AI finalists, i'm biased, i want a rocker to win preferably Bo. Carrie is brilliantly awesome but i just want a different looking AI with a different style.

i finally got Kelly's cd not too long ago. at first, i wasn't sure if i was going to like it--then i heard Addicted---that changed everything! i just love it now!

right now, i am hooked on Rob Thomas' Lonely No More and i can't wait to get his cd this month. i think it's cool his song is being used for the Desperate Housewives promos.:)

i just bought Finding Neverland after renting it. i was very much impressed by Johnny Depp's performance. i am an official fan of his now! Kate Winslet, i've adored since Sense & Sensibility, she was awesome as usual. y'all gotta get into the outtakes, frickin' hialrious! LOL!

i am really looking forward to Tom Cruise's War Of The Worlds this summer, i have liked the previews so far. i'm a bit worried over Charlie & The Chocolate Factory with Johnny Depp only because i really, really LOVE the original and thought Gene Wilder was absolute perfection. i hope it's not too dark.

i watched Eyes on ABC on Wed and it's pretty cool. i love seeing Laura Leighton again since i was a big Melrose Place fan when she and Marcia Cross were there. Tim Daly is also such tickle, very sexy, suave and funny. i can't believe i missed the premiere of Grey's Anatomy---to think i adore Patrick Dempsey!!:( the ratings have been great, hopefully it stays that way. i'm sure there are a lot of fans of Lost and Desperate Housewives here, too. i am just hooked!

i also saw the first run of the remake of Little House on The Prairie. i was very worried about them ruining it but they really did a good job so far. i look forward to the next 4.

wow, i blathered on, didn't i? LOL. well, just glad to see y'all back!

I am so happy there in the final 4 they beat Duke and UK which has never happen in TOURNEY play to knock both teams out. UNC will be another tough battle and a good game and I believe MSU can beat the Tar Heels they don't scare me maybe only that May but thats about it. I would like to see a Big 10 Championship in the National Championship game that would be sweet and awesome.

how it works 5 steps.
1. Enter an e-mail and make up a password
2. sign up for an offer (yes you have to put in your credit card info)
3. Go to your e-mail and verify your Ipod account.
4. Cancel your account with whatever you signed up for, thus, not paying anything (I signed up for video professor and then called -800-525-7763 to cancel.)
5. Get 5 friends to do the same thing.
2 of my friends have one b/c of this!
I dont usually fall for these scams, but its SO easy!

They sure have been exciting to watch the Wild card rounds were, even know I went 1-3 only getting the Colts right.

Here's who I think wins this weekend.
Steelers Over Jets,
Falcons Over Rams,
Eagles Over Vikings going to be a close game,
Colts Over Pats the Pats don't have CB this year and No Ty Law either so I think the Colts could beat the Pats this would be the year to do it.

it's been a long time y'all! so many things have happened in pop culture,eh?

i've seen Brit's wedding photos online. real or not, i love her picture with her family. i think that's the first time i've seen her father smile.

how cute were Joey's wedding photos? his little girl is one cutie-patootie.:)

i just got really addicted to Smallville this past month and boy, that season premiere was awesome!! he's finally flying!

i saw bits and pieces of Lost and so far, it's cool. i'm waiting for the Oct 2 rerun of the 2hr season premiere that way i get the whole thing.

Joey, to me is getting a little bit better. i'm still not sold on the nephew---he looks more Jewish than Italian to me, lol.

CSI's shocker for me was George Ead's buzz cut. i...want...his...hair...back!!! CSI:Miami losing Speed d/t poor gun maintenance was pretty lame. Without A Trace was amazing; it's about time Sam and Martin got together!

anyway, hello to all of you again. sorry i've been a stranger!

I'm excited about the Michigan State game in Oct 30. Happy the Lions are 2-0 for the first sense 2000 which I thought it was some what most win games I doubt we beat the Eagles this will be the true test for the Lions. I really like Roy The Beast Williams when he scored his first touchdown he told those DB's this is my ball and I'm going to score.

Fatone 'N Sync with Bride
(E! Online, 09/10/2004 3:45 PM)

By Sarah Hall

It's bye bye bye to bachelorhood for just-married Joey Fatone .

The 'N Syncer swapped vows with longtime girlfriend Kelly Baldwin Thursday in a private ceremony at an undisclosed location on the East Coast.

The nuptials doubled as an 'N Sync reunion as all four of Fatone's bandmates, including Justin Timberlake , were in attendance.

Fatone, 27, is the first member of the band to wed.

The newlyweds, who live in Orlando, started dating in high school and have a three-year-old daughter together, but Fatone waited until last June to pop the question to Baldwin.

When he finally asked, the proposal was extravagant enough to make it worth the 10-year wait.

The popster installed a 20-foot-high, 56-foot-wide billboard outside of his home featuring a picture of San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, a place the twosome had always wanted to visit.

Fatone recalled the details of popping the question during a Late Late Show appearance with Craig Kilborn last year.

"So, we drove up, she saw the Palace of Fine Arts [billboard], I went on my knees, got all teary-eyed, and I just froze for a second," Fatone said. "So, I was like, 'Hey, will you marry me?' "

Baldwin was sufficiently impressed and agreed to the proposal.

'N Sync reunited last month for a charity basketball game and to discuss returning to the studio to make a comeback album. However, according to their label, Jive Records, nothing is in the works at this time.

Published reports have indicated that Timberlake has expressed reluctance to regroup with the band after achieving Grammy-winning, multiplatinum-selling success as a solo act.

While the fate of 'N Sync remains unclear, Fatone has been branching out into acting in recent years. He had a comic turn in 2002's breakout hit My Big Fat Greek Wedding and went on to a role in 2003's The Cooler with William H. Macy.

Fatone also tried his hand at theater, starring in Rent on Broadway, and most recently played Seymour in the stage revival of Little Shop of Horrors.

In other words, even if the popster's boy-band days are over, he's probably not tearin' up his heart about it.

Hey Everyone. Just wanted to say Hi. Nothing much happening in my area. I went to Tennessee a couple of weeks ago for summer camp. Took about 40 students from church there. It was awesome. Went horseback riding, whitewater rafting and a huge slip and slide. It was five days of being outdoors in the mountains. The weather was okay. It rained a couple of times but mostly at night.

Summer's almost over but not before I get to do a couple of awesome things. I'm going to see Linkin Park on Tuesday at the Revolution tour. Korn, Snoop Dogg, The Used, Less Than Jake are also going to be there. Then in September I'm going to Rock The Universe. It's in Orlando and it's a 2 day festival of christian rock bands. I'm excited to see The Newsboys, Kutless and Barlow Girl. Plus all the other bands.

Happy Birthday Ben. Hope it was great. Have a great weekend.

Again I would like to thank eveyone for the Birthday greetings. I got some Birthday money which I forgot to say in Reply and I went up to Grand Rapids yesterday got a good deal on a Pudge jersey got it for $60.00 dollars it use to be $100.00 so I was very happy about that and I got a Pistons NBA Champions DVD and a mag.

Glenn I think the Lions will have a good season 7-9 or 8-8 I think Lions can be a .500 team or near there. The Lions finally got a running game with rookie Kevin Jones I think sense Barry Sanders the best running back behide sweetness Walter Peyton Sanders and Peyton are the best. With what the Lions got in FA and the draft I am really excited for the Lions even know I am always excited about the Lions but I haven't felt this pump up in a long time, I just want to see Joey do better with the weapons he got with Streets, Rogers, and Roy Williams there really isn't any excuses for Harrington anymore but I think Joey will do well.

This hiatus is driving me crazy, I need an NSYNC fix soon before I lose it completely. The withdrawal pains are getting worse and worse by the day.Let's face it I'm an NSYNCoholic.

Despite what you may have heard Lance is not starring in Lovewrecked although his production company Bacon & Eggs(formerly A Happy Place)is producing the film. The rock star role is being played by former the O.C. player Chris Carmac.Lance does have a role in the film as an assistant to the manager and publicist of Carmac's character so it doesn't sound like his appearance will have much impact on the film's story. If you want see Lance just for the sake of seeing Lance if only for a few minutes then by all means see this film but I think I'll skip it.

I hear New Line is working on the script for Freddy vs Jason 2 and I remember how Lance missed out on the first one so now is his chance for the sequel.I enjoy horror movies as much as the next guy but I don't know if I want to see Lance or any of the guys die in one even if they are playing a character.Do you?

Timberlake Out of Sync?
(E! Online, 08/12/2004 7:20 PM)

By Joal Ryan

After you've disrobed Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl, and presumably disrobed Cameron Diaz someplace, can you really go back to being just one of the boys?

For Justin Timberlake , the answer is no, per a report in the new People magazine.

Timberlake "doesn't want any part" of a planned 'N Sync reunion, a source says in People.

"Justin said he's not in the mood and doesn't think it will work," the spy tells the magazine.

'N Sync, with the Backstreet Boys , the leading boy band of the teen-pop explosion of the late 1990s/early 2000s, has been on hiatus since a 2002 tour in support of the group's third pop album, Celebrity, released in 2001.

The five members--Timberlake, JC Chasez , Lance Bass , Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick --have reteamed occasionally. In 2003, for instance, they harmonized on a Bee Gees medley at the Grammy Awards.

Last month, the "Bye Bye Bye" boys performed the national anthem at a charity basketball game in Miami for the Challenge for the Children Foundation, an organization founded by the popsters.

The Miami gig was supposed to be the start of putting 'N Sync back in sync, People says. But instead of talking about recording dates, Timberlake reportedly was talking about not recording.

Officially, the group is still a group, Jive Records spokeswoman Sonia Muckle told E! Thursday. She also says there was never a new 'N Sync album planned for this year.

Chasez, Bass, Fatone and Kirkpatrick "are undecided right now" about the future of the band, the People source says. The foursome were said to be ticked off at Timberlake's defection.

It was Timberlake who sparked talk of a reactivated 'N Sync last year. He told the Website Launch that the reunion would occur after Chasez's solo album debut, Schizophrenic, came out in February of this year.

When it comes to solo acts, the 23-year-old Timberlake is the solo act among the 'N Sync set. His 2002 album, Justified, went triple platinum, spawned the hit singles "Cry Me a River" and "Like I Love You," and won two Grammys .

Off the charts, he's dated Britney Spears , Jackson and incumbent girlfriend Diaz, and bagged a leading role in the big-screen thriller, Edison, due out next year. Last January, he manhandled Jackson's bustier in the wardrobe malfunction seen around the world.

By comparison, the other 'N Syncers have had more modest successes, not including Lance Bass who almost immodestly walked in outer space, but none seem hard up enough to warrant a sad Behind the Music profile.

With 'N Sync possibly out of the picture, the Backstreet Boys should have less competition when they seek to reclaim the hearts and minds of their older and possibly wiser fans.

The Boys have been on the road since the spring. A new album--their first since 2001's optimistically titled The Hits--Chapter One--is expected later this year.

Unlike the 'N Sync situation, no Backstreet Boy has a soaring solo career to get in the way of the group--Nick Carter 's Paris Hilton-related headlines, notwithstanding.

(Well, I guess that cancels out a Disney special for a reunion eh?)

The WB really really want an Angel Movie ? E!Online’s Kristin answers...
From Eonline.com - 2004-07-21st

From dianeb92: Have you been reading that the new CEO of the WB says they might have made a mistake canceling Angel? Vindication! It tastes so sweet and so sour at the same time!

I asked him the exact same thing and have some promising news for you guys, but I have to get my hands on the tape (the interview was for E! News Live) and transcribe it for you. If I can’t get it up tonight, I promise it will be in this week’s column. For now (just so I don’t torture you), I’ll tell you that he sounded very pro-Angel, and verrry interested in doing Angel movies this season.

*(i got this from a buffy/angel website. wanted to hear your thoughts on the possibilities of a couple of angel movies. woo! lol.)
