Where has close to $30 million in our Union dues gone towards? Why does MCOFU only have a small percentage in cash, no Union hall/office or any other tangible assets after 15 years of existence?
To uncover these answers and put MCOFU back on financial track, please vote for me, Dan Dubrule as the next MCOFU Treasurer.
My Union experience comes from being an elected Steward for over twelve years. During that time I had been elected to numerous positions within MCOFU. This has given me the ability to see the big picture that we face as an organization and also as individuals.
As Treasurer of the World Veterans Association for over five years, I have the mechanical knowledge it takes to fill the position. Some of my duties included fundraising, grant/donation seeking and lobbying/ legislation activities.
I have the ability, knowledge and experience to put MCOFU back on financial track and make other positive changes for the benefit of the membership and their families.

If elected, I would guarantee to act on the following:
 Balance our financial books. Help develop a financially responsible budget.
 Establish a Financial Oversight Committee of members chosen by you.
 Establish a one-stop Financial Information Clearinghouse.
 Establish a Benevolent/Benefit fund that would help members and their families in crisis or other worthwhile causes.
 Obtain Union properties to include an Office/Hall.
 Improve and update members Financial Benefits.
 Help file legislation improving financial Aid for MCOFU members and their families� education.
 Help file legislation to bolster our current and future financial needs i.e. 20/60, 25/75, cost of living raises.
 Organize For-Profit programs that would bring in funds to MCOFU other than just our Union dues.

The following is just some of my experiences and accomplishments so you may make an informed decision that voting for me, Dan Dubrule, will positively effect you and your families.

 Started Department of Corrections in 1989 as a Correctional Officer.
 Served on the DOC Tact Team for over seven years.
 Elected MCOFU Steward for over twelve years.
 Elected to the following MCOFU Committees:
Judicial
Communicable Disease
Health & Welfare
Election
Overtime
Contract Negotiation
County Networking
 Helped raise or collect tens of thousands of dollars for the benefit of fellow Union Sisters and Brothers in their time of need.
 Not a disciplinary problem (but due to Union activities, I have been on many Managers�/Sheriffs�/Sellouts� Shun, Hate, Intimidate and Threat list).
 Co-founded MCOFUs� Military Association Committee.
 Assisted in winning case #SUP-4514 Unfair Labor Charge.
 Been to most Union informational pickets and other pro-action events including House of Correction pickets/events.
 Completed numerous training/educational seminars for Steward development and Union organization.
 Principal team member that successfully lobbied to get the Military retirement buy back (S-Bill 1999).
 Co-founded the World Veterans Association.
 Helped the WVA open a health clinic that has helped over 260 individuals in need.
 At the age of 16 �, I joined the Army Reserves and completed 16 years of service. First half as a Cavalry Scout and the last half as Military Police.
 Married for eight years and have two wonderful daughters.
 Licensed Construction Supervisor.
 Importer/Exporter.

**Please note my involvement in MCOFU started long before this election and will continue long after.
