I know MCOFU from top to bottom. I worked for MCOFU from the start. This is what I hear from members who are active in our union. I can�t put my name because I have to work with them win or loss.

I often wonder how people like Pit Bull lasted so long in the DOC. This post of misinformation only shows some of the things people will do to discredit someone.

1. No one knew what was coming at SECC. There were rumors, but no facts. Hocking put his name on the transfer list after he was informed of the possibility of being assigned to the 11-7 shift. The SECC closing hadn't been disclosed to the MCOFU yet.

2. Actually, Hocking could have gone to the State Hospital, Treatment Center, or Boston Pre-release before Walpole. All of those would have been closer to home for him.

3. Hocking did not push for Miranda in the last election. He's gone, rest in peace, so we will leave that alone in respect to his family.

4. Brouillette knew about the missing money in April or May of 2001 and did not report it until September, 2001! That information came right out of Brouillette's mouth in a deposition dated May 23, 2003.

I believe that Pit Bull's record does speak for itself.

How you guys coping with your new superintendent (saba). I know how you guys from the farm are, you guys are not known for your sensitivities to other groups. Supt. Saba is a hatchet man for the department, and the commish and his cronies love him. He fired about 6 officers from Boston Pre-release in a period of one (1) year. Let me give you guys a few words of advice, if you don't want to lose your job. I repeat DO NOT make any short jokes, especially about 5'1 feet tall jokes. I repeat DO NOT make any reference to him being an arab (he's a syrian). DO NOT call him the following names muhammad muhammad, chemical ali, youssef habib, and my personal favorite moustafa. DO NOT pronounce his name as Saaahhbaah, (although that is the right pronounciation), pronounce it as Sayba. I know him well, after all i was his favorite kid.
